About The Position
The Project Quality Manager plans, supervises, and monitors quality assurance activities across multiple projects within an assigned district. The role works with project teams to ensure work meets contract specifications and quality standards, with responsibilities spanning quality control, auditing, inspections, environmental performance, and risk assessment.
Requirements
- ASQ and/or ACI certification is required in the US.
- Proven subject matter expertise in testing, inspection processes, and construction procedures.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring ability, with ownership.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn and grow in environmental monitoring, technical writing, and documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or Engineering Technologist Diploma preferred.
- Five or more years of related experience preferred.
- Canadian equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience or training in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality procedures at project sites within the district, including documentation, procedures, and testing required by contract specifications.
- Develop and manage quality control plans for projects in the assigned district.
- Prepare internal and external audit documentation and reporting to support site quality activities and compliance.
- Assist with company non-conformance reports and resolutions.
- Identify project-site risks and discrepancies during daily site walks.
- Document findings, evaluations, and inspections using company-prescribed procedures and software.
- Perform system verifications on completed systems to confirm correct installation in accordance with contract design specifications.
- Document, analyze, and report environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.
- Manage impact assessments to identify, assess, and reduce organizational environmental risks and financial costs, following the direction of the environmental team and established procedures.
