About The Position

This role will manage learning projects and portfolios by providing strategic direction to the Enterprise Learning & Development group (ELD) to ensure that the SCE workforces possess the knowledge and skills required to work safely, in accordance with corporate and regulatory requirements. You will help to close performance gaps as well as implement solutions that shape performance across the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience overseeing the implementation of training initiatives across diverse operating units (OUs), assessing effectiveness, identifying gaps, and reporting on outcomes.
  • Experience providing oversight of training curriculum maintenance and new development, ensuring programs remain current and aligned with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience making data-driven recommendations and executing complex initiatives that address regulatory and operational challenges.
  • Experience collaborating with business leaders, SMEs, and Instructional Designers to prepare and deliver clear and concise training recommendations.
  • Experience defining training project requirements, developing implementation roadmaps, and managing execution while navigating obstacles.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience assessing the impacts of regulatory requirements and safety initiatives on electric grid infrastructure and operational processes for customer service or craft and experience reporting findings to key regulatory stakeholders.
  • Experience interpreting and aligning technical business operations with regulatory requirements across multiple organizational units, including craft work, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
  • Experience implementing automation solutions that ensure compliance with policy or governing agencies while embedding safeguards in process design.
