About The Position

Prepares complete estimates for assigned project(s) and determines project plans and specifications. Provides onsite drafting service to update and maintain site. Generates, arranges, and processes instrumentation, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams. Maintains records of drawings and revisions.

Requirements

Provide onsite drafting service to update and maintain site.
Generate, arrange, process instrumentation, mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams.
Capability to update drawings on DWG and DGN.
Maintain records of drawings and revisions.
Minimum of 4 days per week/ 10 hours per day
Must pass pre-employment physical and background
Must have Valid Driver's License
Must have fluent SAP Experience
Must have mechanical and E&I planning/Scheduling experience
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities

Reviews and incorporates historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man-hour figures.
Estimate working hours and materials required to complete the job.
Reviews specifications, drawings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimates - Maintains files of working documents and back-up for estimate figures.
Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities.
Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work sites.
Follows all hazardous waste handling guidelines.
Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.
Follow contracts as assigned.
Apply shop mathematics to solve problems.
Plan work and select proper tools.
Compare and see differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects.
Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
Make decisions based on measurable criteria.
Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
