About The Position

As a Project/Floor Custodian, you will prioritize and manage projects, workloads, and assist EVS co-workers. You will strip, wax, and polish floors using light and heavy power scrubbers and buffers. Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas and assist in any additional janitorial duties as required. A Sunrise Shift is available. Your day-to-day will entail cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas; sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; dusting and wiping down surfaces; emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners; restocking supplies as needed, such as paper towels and soap; reporting maintenance issues and safety hazards; operating machinery to help clean the resort; and understanding and utilizing various cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Ability to communicate with team members effectively.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or custodial services.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimal knowledge of cleaning machinery and how to use them.
  • Minimal knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to use them.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
