About The Position
Contributing in this role means: Project Planning Develop and update schedules covering the various phases of projects; Ensure alignment between project schedules and production activities; Contribute to the improvement of planning methods. Coordination and Communication Collaborate with project, engineering, and production teams; Participate in coordination meetings and progress reviews; Communicate priorities, constraints, and adjustments to the relevant teams. Analysis and Monitoring Participate in monitoring schedules and analyzing variances; Identify the impacts of delays or changes and propose solutions; Contribute to optimizing the sequencing of work. Tools and Technologies Use planning and analysis tools (Excel and specialized software); Use 3D models (Tekla Structures) to support planning; Track project progress using digital tools.
Requirements
- Hold a DEC in industrial engineering, civil engineering, or a related field
- 0 to 6 months of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Excel and other technological tools
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate multiple stakeholders
- Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Ability to structure, coordinate, and manage projects
- Excellent proficiency with Excel tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills when working with complex data
- Ability to clearly communicate variances and issues, and to propose solutions to the team
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required
- Valid passport required for travel to the United States
Nice To Haves
- Experience in planning or schedule management in a construction or manufacturing setting (a plus)
- Knowledge of software such as Tekla Structures or Epicor (an asset)
