About The Position

We are looking for a Project Planner to join Ericsson's Project Management Office (PMO) in Plano, TX. This is a high-impact role focused on supporting Customer Project Managers (CPMs) in managing their Fulfillment Assignment Specifications (FAS) scope through structured planning, accurate data, and strong governance. The person in this role will help ensure that customer business is carried out in alignment with Ericsson's responsible business practices, including legal, financial, environmental and occupational health and safety (E+OHS), information security, and privacy requirements, using standard processes and tools.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in project planning within complex, multi-project environments, including scheduling, dependencies, critical path analysis, milestones, and forecasting.
  • A strong governance mindset and commitment to data discipline, consistently producing accurate, reliable plans and high-quality data.
  • Critical thinking skills, including the ability to identify unrealistic plans, highlight risks, and propose practical alternatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and collaboration, particularly when working with project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Site Tracker and other project planning tools.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with strong documentation, reporting, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
  • A track record of turning complex data and inputs into actionable, high-quality plans, with a focus on structure, clarity, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret contracts and project planning inputs — such as scope, schedule, purchase order issuance, and invoicing/acceptance — and translate them into clearly defined customer deliverables and work plans.
  • Build and maintain project schedules, including dependencies, critical path, milestones, and forecasting, to support a realistic delivery pace based on FAS scope.
  • Ensure alignment between operational plans and supply/delivery plans, uphold planning governance and data quality, and escalate missing or poor-quality inputs when needed.
  • Maintain and update the Customer Deliverable Master List, top-down plans, and the Project Library, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and well-controlled.
  • Analyze operational, financial, and delivery progress using data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and produce accurate, timely project status and performance reports.
  • Configure and validate project setup in planning tools (including Site Tracker, Global Chronos, and related systems), manage data, and support standardization and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide CPMs and stakeholders with standard and advanced status reports, offer guidance on maintaining process adherence and data quality, and support E+OHS compliance and responsible business practices.
