About The Position

The Project Officer, PACE Curriculum Development is part of UniSC’s Centre for Learning and Teaching and reports to the PACE Program Manager. This role is crucial for delivering curriculum transformation projects that align with the University’s PACE Learning and Teaching Model. This model aims to enhance flexibility, personalization, and student success through updated curriculum design and modern learning pathways. The role involves leading project coordination from planning to implementation across various curriculum and program projects, collaborating with academic and professional staff to achieve high-quality outcomes. The Project Officer will bring structure, rigor, and a stakeholder focus to complex projects, supporting change adoption throughout the University.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project delivery, including scheduling, analysis, requirements gathering, solution development, and implementation using recognized project management frameworks and toolsets.
Demonstrated experience using digital tools and platforms to support project delivery and collaboration, including the Microsoft 365 suite (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot), and project/task management systems (e.g., Asana, MS Project, Planner, or similar).
Demonstrated understanding of change and communication approaches to support project success outcomes.
Strong business analysis capability, including the ability to research, evaluate options, prepare documentation, and recommend business process improvements.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including confidentiality, diplomacy, active listening, and productive relationship building with stakeholders.
Demonstrated adaptability and agility, with the ability to quickly take on new initiatives and respond to changing operational requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience using Asana is highly desirable.
Experience supporting or delivering projects within a higher education environment, ideally in curriculum development, program implementation, or learning and teaching initiatives.

Responsibilities

Manage the design, development, and implementation of allocated projects for new or changing programs from post-academic governance approval through to delivery.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports, ensuring adherence to standards and requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Engage with internal teams for information and support, identify and collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver solutions that meet project objectives on time.
Coordinate project communications, change activities, and team initiatives, providing change support to stakeholders as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure alignment with governance structures and frameworks to maintain the quality and assurance of UniSC projects.
Create an outstanding customer experience in line with the University's strategic plan imperatives.
