About The Position
Taylor Metal Products is seeking a self-motivated candidate to research and track construction projects, qualify opportunities, and generate leads for its sales and estimating teams. The position supports accurate project handoffs and provides regular updates on the project pipeline and lead-generation activities. Taylor Metal Products manufactures high-end steel roofing and siding products and has been in business for over 40 years. Applicants must live within commuting distance of one of the company’s locations in Salem, Oregon; Auburn, Washington; Spokane, Washington; Riverside, California; or Sacramento, California. The role is based at the Salem TMP location. Applicants must pass a background check and drug screening for safety-sensitive positions.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand construction specifications.
- Strong research and networking skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM systems.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in construction supply, sheet metal, roofing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with construction project databases such as Dodge or ConstructConnect.
Responsibilities
- Research and track construction projects through databases, bid boards, and industry connections.
- Qualify opportunities and generate leads for the sales and estimating teams.
- Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to ensure accurate project handoff.
- Provide regular reports and updates on the project pipeline and lead-generation activities.
