Project Milestone Assessor

Stellantis•Auburn Hills, MI

About The Position

Stellantis Quality is seeking a highly skilled, solutions-oriented Project Milestone Assessor to support the independent review of vehicle development processes and help ensure launched products exceed customer expectations across the six types of Quality. The role assesses whether development work is completed to an acceptable standard for delivering quality products at launch. The successful candidate will bring experience in automotive engineering, manufacturing, and quality, along with the ability to lead and support cross-functional teams, establish standardization, and influence others with integrity and confidence. The assessor follows projects through key performance indicators covering quality, performance, cost, timing, industrialization, supply chain, brand, and other areas. They verify milestone deliverables, assess project risks and gaps, ensure corrective plans are in place for QCDP risks, and give particular attention to product and industrial quality results. They prepare milestone assessments and summaries, facilitate their review with project teams and other relevant leaders, and ensure the assessments are distributed appropriately. The role supports project and mass-production teams in applying quality methods and other methods needed to achieve and sustain product quality and quality-process results. It also contributes to improving standards and processes by documenting and sharing lessons learned, identifying good practices, and analyzing project difficulties across the assessor’s overall scope. The scope includes vehicle projects and projects developed with joint-venture or other partners.
