About The Position

As a Project Manager at Tryg Critical Solutions, you’ll serve as the overall leader of assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll take full ownership of project execution—from planning through close-out while maintaining strong client relationships and driving team performance. This role demands proactive leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to excellence. You’ll be responsible for aligning internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders around project goals, while ensuring customer satisfaction remains at the forefront throughout every phase.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant construction or critical facility experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Skilled in Viewpoint Team and Spectrum platforms
  • Proven track record of managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
  • Experience with commercial or infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated experience in estimating and change management
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients, vendors, consultants, and team members
  • Willing and able to travel nationwide for up to 5 weeks at a time & must reside within 75 miles of a major international airport.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to rent a vehicle as needed

Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of assigned projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate job setup with accounting; oversee project turnover and budget development.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules; identify critical path and adjust proactively.
  • Estimate and manage change orders; negotiate approvals and ensure timely billing.
  • Facilitate key meetings (turnover, OAC, design-build/assist); maintain strong communication with stakeholders.
  • Secure permits and understand jurisdictional requirements, support superintendent with site logistics.
  • Manage submittments, purchase orders, and material procurement with urgency and accuracy.
  • Oversee job costing, labor codes, and subcontractor invoicing; maintain financial integrity.
  • Conduct job walks and safety audits; enforce standards and address site issues directly.
  • Maintain organized record drawings and ensure installation quality supports continued payment.
  • Mentor team members; train future project leaders and support field development.
  • Prepare monthly cost-to-complete reports, present findings to leadership with clarity.
  • Build lasting client relationships through responsiveness, fairness, and follow-through.
  • Lead project close-out, delivering all required documentation and coordinating with service teams.
  • Ensure vendor closeout and fulfillment of contractual obligations, respectful verbal and written communication with residents, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

  • Maintains open, proactive communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participates in After Action closeout meetings to review performance and gather feedback.
  • Builds trust through reliability, transparency, and consistent follow-through.
