Project Manager - Loudoun County
About The Position
Birdwatch is redefining homeowner expectations for home maintenance and improvement. We are seeking a Project Manager to lead residential projects primarily in Loudoun County, VA, and support select projects in the greater DMV region. This role involves overseeing medium- to large-scale home improvement projects such as basement finishes, kitchen and bathroom remodels, decks, additions, roofing, siding, windows, flooring, and other major residential renovations. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, problem-solving, staying organized, and bringing projects to fruition.
Requirements
- Experience managing residential construction, remodeling, or home improvement projects.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day looks a little different.
- Loves solving problems before they become emergencies.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Communicates exceptionally well with both homeowners and contractors.
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality work and an even better customer experience.
- Comfortable using technology to manage schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout their project.
- Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, inspections, permits, schedules, and materials.
- Keep projects moving on time and within budget.
- Communicate proactively with homeowners so they always know what's happening next.
- Ensure work meets Birdwatch's quality standards before project completion.
- Identify issues early and work collaboratively to solve them.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, budgets, schedules, and change orders.
- Partner closely with our Director of Projects to continuously improve how we deliver projects.
