About The Position

STUDIOS Architecture is seeking a Project Manager with a passion for thoughtful, forward-thinking design for its New York office. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the impact of design on people's lives and thrive on developing architectural solutions to complex problems. This role requires a collaborative individual who enjoys teaching and learning from others, understanding that the best design comes from exploration and the exchange of ideas. The Project Manager will be a proactive and creative problem-solver with strong analytical skills, and a good communicator who builds strong relationships with colleagues, clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors. A commitment to the advancement of technology, building performance, and sustainability strategies in design and construction is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • 7-10 years of New York-based project management experience at an architectural or interior design firm
  • Experience working on large commercial office, mixed-use, civic, academic, cultural, or other complex projects
  • Experience managing project teams, creating project proposals and fees, reviewing contracts and invoices, and interfacing with clients
  • Capable of leading multiple projects independently as well as collaborating on larger-scale projects as part of a team
  • Ability to balance demands on multiple projects at various stages of development
  • Ability to develop designs with an understanding of building systems, sustainability requirements, accessibility, and code compliance
  • Strong technical knowledge of Type I, Type II construction, construction detailing, building materials, and systems
  • Design and documentation experience using Revit required
  • Licensed Architect in the State of New York

Benefits

  • Base salary compensation ranging from $90,000 to $125,000, based on experience
