About The Position

We are seeking a motivated mid-level Civil Engineer with 5-6 years of land development experience who is looking to advance into a Project Manager role. This position will focus on leading planning and design tasks for various land development projects while ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with a team of Project Managers, handling technical aspects while growing professionally in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in land development.
• EIT (Engineer in Training) certification required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong client, project, and team management skills.
• Experience in budget and financial planning for land development projects.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to government project requirements; no sponsorship available).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Desire to grow into a Project Manager role and develop professionally in the field.

Nice To Haves

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of designers using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for land development construction drawings, promoting a positive learning environment.
• Oversee various projects, including residential developments, shopping centers, and amusement parks, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Understand and manage the process for obtaining entitlement approvals, grading, and encroachment permits.
• Ensure quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes are followed, and manage project budgets effectively while establishing design criteria.
• Collaborate with the Principal to produce accurate project proposals and support business development initiatives.
• Implement efficient problem-solving strategies to meet project requirements and client expectations.
• Manage project timelines, team performance, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and reliable project delivery.
