About The Position
Dose in a Box is seeking an experienced Lead Barista to join their growing brand. Specialty coffee and restaurant experience is required. Dose in a Box aims to provide a fun and unforgettable experience, offering the same quality of drinks as a third-wave cafe. The Lead Barista will provide leadership, direction, and support to the team, manage schedules, enforce procedures, ensure efficient cafe operations, act as a liaison between staff and upper management, and guarantee guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate embraces the company's vision and culture, is willing to perform any job, maintains store standards, collaborates with the general manager for daily upkeep and communication, can act as manager when needed, possesses strong leadership and quick-thinking abilities, is detail-oriented, and has excellent customer service skills.
Requirements
- Specialty coffee and restaurant experience
- Previous coffee experience
- Experience as a lead / supervisor
- Ability to work in high-pressure + fast-paced environments
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Experience in, and an ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Effective problem solving/decision making skills
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and verbal communication skills
- Lead Barista: 2 years (Required)
- Day Shift (Required)

Responsibilities
- Ensuring staff members are taking breaks
- Assisting customers with complaints or concerns
- Assisting with ordering
- Working with the store manager for day-to-day operations
- Ensuring quality drinks and products are being served
- Perform regular barista duties, including register and customer service
- Perform other duties, as assigned
