About The Position

As a Design Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for civil engineering design, planning, and related tasks, working closely with the project team to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. This role requires strong technical skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving in a dynamic team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in land development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• EIT (Engineer in Training) certification required.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and zoning standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to government project requirements; no sponsorship available).
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Maintain a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and grow continuously in the field.

Nice To Haves

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure successful project completion.
• Prepare grading, storm drain, utility, sewer, as-built, and street improvement plans under the guidance of the Project Manager.
• Research, interpret, and apply city standards, codes, and zoning requirements to project sites.
• Communicate regularly with agencies and plan checkers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Draft and submit comment response letters, addressing feedback and revisions for project approval.
• Support land development projects from concept through construction with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
• Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve technical challenges.
• Continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow within the field of civil engineering.
