Project Manager (Local to MI)
About The Position
The Project Manager will manage IT software or infrastructure projects involving 50 or more team members. The role requires advanced experience managing Agile projects, project scope, schedules and budgets, as well as vendor relationships. The candidate must also have experience writing or participating in the development of Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or contracts. The position is local to Michigan. A copy of the candidate’s bachelor’s degree transcript or diploma must be uploaded as a separate attachment. Candidates with a PMP certification must upload a copy of the certification as a separate attachment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; a copy of the transcript or diploma must be uploaded as a separate attachment.
- At least six years of professional experience as a project manager for IT software or infrastructure projects involving 50 or more team members.
- Five to six or more years of advanced experience managing Agile projects.
- Five to six or more years of advanced experience managing project scope, schedules and budgets.
- Five to six or more years of advanced experience with vendor management.
- Experience writing or participating in the development of a Statement of Work (SOW), Request for Proposal (RFP) or contract.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- PMP certification is highly desired; a copy must be uploaded as a separate attachment if the candidate possesses one.
