The Project Manager is responsible for the full end-to-end project cycle including intake planning and scoping, through execution and delivery, to project closure. Project Managers handle cross-functional as well as specialized projects, across multiple departments. They ensure deadlines are maintained, within scope, and that projects align with the company’s strategic objectives. This role involves coordinating planning sessions with executives and stakeholders, managing execution, maintaining PMO documentation and tools, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.

  • 2+ years of project coordination, project management, operations, or related experience
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or other project delivery frameworks.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management certification preferred (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in project management software, and strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Keep PMO tools organized and up to date.
  • Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and timely delivery.
  • Facilitate alignment meetings with senior management and primary stakeholders.
  • Schedule 1:1s with project Owners for performance, alignment, and feedback.
  • Actively propose ways to improve processes within the PMO Division.
  • Work with the Data team to gather required reports or metrics for projects.
  • Ensure projects are aligned with company-wide priorities and adhere to PMO standards.
  • Organize and conduct Kick-off Meetings to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Schedule and facilitate Planning & Intake sessions with Project Leads to gather all required information.
  • Conduct QA processes to verify deliverable quality.
  • Actively engage in PMO meetings, raising issues, providing insights, and contributing to solutions.
  • Maintain and update PMO monitoring and control artifacts, including: RAID Matrix, Project Charter, Milestone Plan, Project Updates Report, Other reports as needed.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement based on the Power Grid (influence vs. impact).
  • Close completed projects following PMO procedures (archiving files, documenting outcomes, and updating records).
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings outside of the Project Team (training, decision-making, mapping meetings).
  • Complete daily and personal to-dos assigned.
  • Collect project feedback at the end of each phase.
  • Ensure company-wide communications and/or change management plans are included in project plans.
  • Update and maintain SharePoint project team Home Pages.
