About The Position

KVA is seeking a Project Manager to support its growth. The company manufactures protective relay and control panels for transmission and distribution substations, including relay panels and control enclosures. This role manages projects in a production/manufacturing setting from start through delivery, tracking progress and communicating project status and expectations to corporate-level clients. The position also involves coordination with vendors and internal labor providers, along with planning, reporting, and forecasting. The work setting is a manufacturing facility, in person.

Requirements

At least 5 years of project management experience.
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong organization skills.
Ability to self-motivate and take ownership of driving project success.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability and willingness to learn quickly and ask questions.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Electrical background or understanding.
Mechanical background or understanding.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Elementary sales or customer service experience.
Ability to read or decipher schematics and blueprints.
Jobscope Manufacturing Software experience.

Responsibilities

Communicate with corporate-level clients by providing status reports on current projects and expectations for future projects.
Oversee projects from start to delivery in a production/manufacturing setting, with attention to detail and follow-through.
