About The Position

CVP is seeking a Project Manager to join our team and work with an award-winning technology, business, and healthcare consultancy. This role involves driving cultural transformation, establishing governance, developing strategy, and facilitating business process and organizational change. An organizational restructuring is forthcoming, which may result in personnel transitioning to CPOC, where a range of new services and processes will be introduced. Change Management will be essential to successfully implement organizational realignment. The role will work directly with Federal Leadership (Director/Branch Chief) as well as coordinate with leadership across the agency, including both management and security operations. The Project Manager will develop and implement transition management plans, manage communications for major initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and drive organizational transformation and culture change. They will demonstrate and implement Project Management best practices in an IT Enterprise environment that reduce risks and improve service delivery. Responsibilities include monitoring program execution to identify obstacles and deviations from the plan and taking corrective action as needed, prioritizing observability and measurements, and tracking progress towards meeting contractual and client expectations. The role enforces a customer-centric outlook and encourages out-of-the-box thinking in introducing innovative solutions. Continuous risk assessment and management, including developing measures to reduce risk in program execution, is also key. Ensuring timely communications across the program, including daily oral and written statuses, is required. The role will also assist in the development of future strategic plans and associate program plans, and aid with the integration of other supporting and adjacent strategies or strategic plans.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance (US Citizenship Required)
  • 4+ years of recent Program/Project Management and Change Management experience
  • Must possess experience and understanding of government contracting
  • Experience supporting and engaging senior leaders and managing stakeholders
  • Strong and effective verbal and communication skills
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience in change management, organizational change management (OCM), Department of Defense (DOD), and program change is preferred
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, demonstrate professionalism, and possess the ability to think innovatively
  • Experience in a federal environment such as the USDA
  • PMP certification is strongly preferred
  • Project Management experience in an IT Enterprise environment that includes performance, budgeting, risks, and maturity
