About The Position

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our San Jose Interior Design practice. In this role, you will collaborate with our award-winning thought leaders on innovative projects that integrate thoughtful planning, research, sustainability, and architectural excellence. We're looking for someone who enjoys actively leading project teams, fostering a collaborative environment, and building long-term strategic relationships with clients in the science and technology sector. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or other related field
  • 8+ years of project management experience required
  • Expertise with Project Management software and Microsoft Office products is necessary
  • Professional experience honed on increasingly more complex projects required
  • Team player
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients
  • Ability to leverage technical skills of your teams to deliver projects on budget and on schedule

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Licensure preferred
  • Experience with TI and core and shell preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale and multiple smaller-sized, challenging projects simultaneously
  • Experience with LEED accreditation and Design/Build project delivery method is preferred
  • Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp and other industry accepted software is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage multiple projects from concept through completion.
  • Develop and oversee project work plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing.
  • Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and code compliance throughout all phases.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, building trust and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Lead presentations, facilitate approvals, and translate client goals into actionable strategies.
  • Direct and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Coordinate consultants and stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation in line with firm standards.
