About The Position

Horizon is seeking a Project Manager for its Landscape Construction division. This role involves leading projects from contract award to final handoff, managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships. The Project Manager will be supported by a Project Manager Playbook and will work closely with a Project Coordinator and field team. The role offers flexibility with office hours based out of either the Squamish or Langley offices, serving both the Lower Mainland and Sea to Sky regions.

Requirements

5+ years of construction experience (landscape construction experience preferred)
2+ years in a project management role
Post-secondary education in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to identify risks, solve problems, and apply value engineering principles.
Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, and MS Project
Keen attention to detail and a strong affinity for numbers

Nice To Haves

Certifications such as Red Seal, CHT, CLM, or ISA are an asset (completed or in progress).

Responsibilities

Guide projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Lead and support site teams and subcontractors to deliver top-tier results.
Build strong client partnerships through proactive communication and trust.
Monitor budgets, schedules, and quality.
Champion Horizon’s culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
Plan and forecast in the office, and walk sites to solve challenges and celebrate progress.
