About The Position

Gutor is a leading international manufacturer of UPS systems for industrial applications, with over 75 years of experience and a global presence. The company is committed to providing excellent customer support through experienced engineers and technicians. To strengthen their team, Gutor is seeking a Customer Project Manager for their UPS production site. This role involves managing international industrial projects, leading project teams, monitoring financial progress and budgets, and serving as the primary customer contact from order to commissioning. The Customer Project Manager will support technical questions and contribute to the development of the Solution Center Project Management Team at Gutor. The role requires managing standard ETO customer projects according to the ETO CPP process, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness, while maximizing customer satisfaction and profit margins.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in the Electrical or Oil and Gas industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management.
• Strong communication skills (situational adaptation, sensitivity, politeness).
• Proficiency in Project Management skills (Tools, Methods concerning duties and responsibilities, knowledge of projects finance, upselling, knowledge of economics in project business).
• Fluent in English (written and oral).
• Ability to handle several projects in parallel.
• Ability to review and understand project specifications, ensure implementation, and identify deviations (commercial, scope, schedule, inspection, documentation, etc.).
• Basic Technical knowledge.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the O&G Industry
• UPS knowledge.
• Technical Engineering Degree (HF).
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Understanding of invoicing requirements and managing financial aspects (e.g., letter of credit, Bank guarantees).
• Knowledge in power distribution systems (AC/DC Panels and DC switchboards).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project and technical communication with the customer, except when a Technical Leader/Manager is part of the Project Team.
• Involve the customer in decision-making processes and provide regular updates on project progress through progress reports.
• Be responsible for customer inspections, including PIM/FAT/Packing Inspection.
• Ensure Sales initiates the handover to execution.
• Participate in Customer Kick-Off Meetings and initiate internal project Kick-Off Meetings.
• Manage planning elements and milestones according to the Gutor Project Process (ETO CPP) in coordination with Project Planning, Operation, and Engineering (Customer Service teams).
• Identify and minimize non-conformance costs.
• Lead and organize status meetings for regular project status reviews with the project team as required.
• Maintain close cooperation with the assigned Application Design Engineer.
• Monitor document submission status in cooperation with documentation teams.
