About The Position

The Project Manager will oversee all construction activities for projects, ensuring quality of work and adherence to job schedules. This role involves scheduling and expediting labor, equipment, and materials, as well as maintaining job logs and providing input for construction scheduling. The Project Manager will attend various conferences, coordinate with subcontractors and architects, and maintain positive customer relationships. Accountability for vendor and contractor performance regarding quality and timeliness is key. The role also includes responsibility for job safety, OSHA compliance, and accident report reviews, along with site management and material handling planning.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager on commercial construction projects.
Knowledge of Local and National building codes.
Commitment to safety and quality matters.
Proactive, self-directed, highly motivated, and able to multi-task.
Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Experience with PROCORE.
Construction drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction.
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10 hour certification is recommended.

Responsibilities

Manage all project construction activities, ensuring quality of work and meeting job schedules.
Schedule and expedite labor crews, equipment, and materials.
Return as-built drawings.
Provide input and implement short-term construction scheduling.
Maintain job log in PROCORE.
Attend conferences with subcontractors, Architect, and Owner.
Expedite subcontractors, inspect their work, and coordinate with them.
Maintain good customer relationships during construction.
Hold vendors and contractors accountable for quality, completeness, and timely work.
Manage and inspect the property regularly.
Ensure job safety and OSHA compliance.
Review accident reports and take corrective action.
Review site plan and develop a Material Handling Plan.
