About The Position

At Alstom, the Project Manager leads complex, high-impact rail projects that support sustainable mobility. The role works with teams across engineering, operations, and customer delivery to bring rail solutions from concept through commissioning. It focuses on scalable project planning, coordinated execution, risk and change management, compliance with project governance, and the use of digital tools to track project performance. The position also promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across global teams. Success is measured by delivering project milestones on time and within budget in line with strategic goals; effective leadership and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams; and reductions in project risks, rework, and operational inefficiencies. The role requires regular on-site presence in a manufacturing setting.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree.
At least five years of project management experience.
Strong problem-solving capability and strategic thinking.
Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing setting with regular on-site presence.

Nice To Haves

Project management experience in rail, manufacturing, production, transportation, civil construction, aerospace, automotive, or another project-based industrial production environment.
Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA Level C.

Responsibilities

Implement robust planning frameworks to support project scalability.
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among engineering, procurement, and quality teams to support project execution.
Manage project risks proactively, control changes, and ensure compliance with Alstom project governance standards.
Integrate digital project dashboards and predictive analytics for performance tracking.
Promote knowledge sharing through lessons-learned sessions and continuous improvement initiatives across global teams.
Lead projects toward on-time, on-budget delivery of milestones aligned with strategic goals.
Support effective collaboration and leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
Reduce project risks, rework, and operational inefficiencies.
