About The Position

This role is a 6-month position, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. The Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional projects that support the mission, strategic priorities, and operational effectiveness of Camino Health Center. This role partners closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure initiatives are planned, executed, and completed successfully, aligned to established scope, timeline, and cost requirements. The Project Manager plays a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting health center growth, and advancing strategic initiatives for the health center. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, business, or a related field
  • 2 years project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities
  • Experience presenting to leadership audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, business, or a related field
  • Experience in healthcare, community health, or nonprofit settings
  • Experience with Microsoft Planner or similar project management tools
  • Project management certification (CAPM, PMP, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of multiple concurrent projects
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource needs
  • Manage project risks and issues; proactively escalate concerns when needed
  • Ensures project plans and deliverables are aligned with clinical and operational workflows, including EHR processes, care team roles, and patient access procedures.
  • Serve as the primary project lead and point of contact for internal stakeholders
  • Facilitate collaboration among internal departments and external partners, as needed
  • Lead project meetings, prepare agendas, and communicate decisions and next steps
  • Provide regular status updates and executive summaries to leadership
  • Track metrics and project outcomes as needed to evaluate effectiveness and impact
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and/or relevant external parties
  • Establish and maintain project documentation, templates, and best practices
  • Contribute to the maturation of project management processes and discipline across the organization
