It collaborates across various scientific disciplines, fostering a diverse community of nearly 600 multidisciplinary researchers, engineers, technicians, tradespeople, staff, and students. The organization is committed to accelerating discovery and shaping a better world. The Project Manager will lead complex engineering and infrastructure projects supporting world-class scientific research, working closely with project leaders, scientists, and multidisciplinary technical teams from concept through to installation. This role involves managing projects according to TRIUMF processes like TSOP-15, overseeing schedule, budget, and risk. Projects typically include developing concepts, design, manufacture, procurement, and installation of new infrastructure and equipment for scientific research, often involving custom, specialized engineering design and assembly of mechanical systems. This is a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic environment, requiring daily interaction with team members to devise plans, make key decisions, and solve problems, applying project management best practices and TRIUMF's project governance process.
