Project Manager – Commercial Real Estate Developer

About The Position

A commercial real estate development and investment firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple self-storage and industrial construction projects across the United States. The role works closely with the development team and external partners to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards. The position also supports renovation and capital improvement projects as needed. Compensation is $125,000–$150,000+ depending on experience, with a 50% target bonus. The role is based in Bellevue, Washington, and requires travel to project sites several times per month.

Requirements

At least 10 years of construction management experience, including at least 3 years overseeing ground-up commercial developments.
Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and project execution.
Experience managing contractors, budgets, schedules, and project teams.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel to project sites several times per month.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, or Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

Oversee construction activities from preconstruction through project completion.
Manage project schedules, budgets, contractors, and overall project progress.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and other project partners.
Review construction plans, proposals, and project documentation.
Monitor quality standards, identify potential risks, and resolve project issues.
Support contractor selection, bidding, and cost evaluation.
Conduct site visits and attend construction meetings to monitor progress.
Oversee project closeout and ensure proper documentation and turnover.
Assist with renovation and capital improvement projects as needed.
