About The Position

Akima Global Technology is looking for a Project Manager to work at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. This role involves providing comprehensive event coordination, facility management, and technical support services for NASIC enterprise facility spaces. The position requires end-to-end event lifecycle management, including booking, security clearances, day-of execution, and audio/visual (A/V) support. The Project Manager will coordinate with the Information Systems Squadron (ISS) A/V team for IT and VTC operations, manage AVRT IT setups, and provide on-site PC operation during events. Additionally, the role involves interfacing with NASIC facilities personnel for room configurations, cleanup, and equipment accountability, as well as providing "day-of" event support including protocol/hospitality logistics, administrative tasks, and attendee movement management. A key responsibility is assisting the NASIC Security Office with visitor access, security clearance verification, and processing of base and facility access credentials.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in event coordination, facility operations, conference services, executive support, or a related field.
  • Experience planning and executing high-visibility meetings, conferences, ceremonies, and organizational events.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating directly with senior military leaders, senior Government officials, distinguished visitors, and executive-level personnel.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and communication skills required to support high-profile events in secure environments.
  • Experience managing end-to-end event logistics and technical coordination.
  • Experience with facility scheduling and configuration.
  • Experience with attendee movement.
  • Experience with visitor access and security requirements.
  • Experience with protocol/hospitality support.
  • Experience with operation or coordination of A/V, VTC, presentation, and conference-room technologies.
  • TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive event coordination, facility management, and technical support services for NASIC enterprise facility spaces.
  • Manage the end-to-end event lifecycle, from initial booking and security clearances to day-of execution and audio/visual (A/V) support.
  • Coordinate with the Information Systems Squadron (ISS) A/V team to ensure conference room IT, Video Teleconference (VTC), microphones, and presentation equipment are properly configured and operational.
  • Navigate and operate the AVRT IT setup and provide on-site PC operation/monitoring during scheduled events.
  • Interface with NASIC facilities personnel to coordinate room configurations, furniture layouts, post-event cleanup, and the return/accountability of all utilized equipment.
  • Provide "day-of" event execution support, including coordinating protocol/hospitality logistics, managing administrative tasks, and overseeing attendee movement within the facility.
  • Assist the NASIC Security Office to facilitate visitor access, verify security clearances, and ensure timely processing of base and facility access credentials for large event attendees.
