In this role you will get to coordinate the delivery of medium sized IT and PMO projects, managing scope, schedule, resourcing, and performance objectives for satisfaction while driving alignment with client goals and contractual requirements. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a Poly
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional experience; additional experience may suffice in lieu of a degree
  • Familiarity with integrating engineering/technical aspects with procurement and construction activities.
  • Proven ability to perform in a management capacity with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and current technology.
  • Successfully obtain a PMP Certification within 6 months of hire
  • An active Top secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking the progress of medium sized projects or multiple small projects, ensuring on schedule and within budget performance.
  • Coordinating stakeholder engagements based on identification of required components of the projects.
  • Building in-depth knowledge of client objectives and contractual requirements, as well as applicable Federal and Department of War business practices.
  • Oversight of business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projects to ensure progress while minimizing project risk and cost.
  • Creation and presentation of key project documents including Project Execution Plans, QA/QC Plans, and Health & Safety Plans.
  • Assigning project responsibilities to stakeholders based on qualifications and strengths, and guiding staff performance and development.
  • Updating project status in client-derived task management systems across a variety of classification levels.
  • Managing scope changes, negotiating modifications with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring timely change orders.
  • Acting as the client’s representative with external project participants, including subcontractors, DoW commands and staff elements, and interagency stakeholders.
  • Developing budgets, schedules, and execution plans in collaboration with project engineers and discipline leads.
  • Monitoring and reporting project progress, milestones, risks, and conditions affecting cost and schedule.
  • Mobilizing resources and coordinating with peer client departments to ensure effective project delivery.
