About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee interior tenant improvement and buildout projects, with a focus on retail and restaurant environments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who thrives in fast-paced settings and can manage multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
Strong background in interior tenant improvements, specifically retail and/or restaurant projects
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Solid understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and cost control
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and plans

Nice To Haves

Experience working in secure or high-compliance environments (e.g., transportation hubs, healthcare, or similar settings)
OSHA certification or strong knowledge of safety standards
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of interior construction projects, including tenant improvements and buildouts
Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure project alignment
Track project costs, manage change orders, and maintain financial controls
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and field issues proactively
Manage procurement of materials and subcontractor scopes
