About The Position

Five Rivers Analytics, an Akima company, is looking for a Project Manager to support our mission in Kirtland Airforce Base, NM. The Project Manager will plan, direct, and oversee contract performance for mission-support operations at Kirtland AFB. This role serves as the primary interface with the customer and corporate leadership, managing staffing, schedule, cost, risk, quality, deliverables, and subcontractor coordination. The position involves monitoring performance metrics and compliance, resolving operational issues, and ensuring contractual requirements are met safely, securely, and on schedule.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
8 years of experience including 3 years leading technical or mission-support teams
Required TS/SCI Clearance.
This position is contingent upon contract award and funding. Applicants selected may be offered but cannot begin work until funding has been confirmed.

Responsibilities

Manages the day-to-day activities for a moderately complex Technical or non-Technical project.
Manages the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer.
Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
May conduct performance/project analyses to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs.
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.
