The Work You Will Do: Project Manager / Office of Information Technology / Strategic Program Services The Project Manager is responsible for managing all phases of assigned IT projects, including the development of comprehensive work plans, resource allocation, and detailed project schedules with defined milestones and critical paths. This role oversees project budgets through forecasting, cost estimation, and financial tracking, prepares clear, data-driven status reports for stakeholders, and ensures rigorous identification and management of project risks and issues. The IT Project Lead creates procurement documentation in alignment with program requirements and FDOT policies, maintains all required project documentation to meet state and Department standards—including DMS 60GG and RAID logs—and directs and guides team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables. Additionally, the position fosters effective communication and collaboration across OIT staff, business representatives, and management, ensures compliance with OIT Product Delivery Methodology, monitors implementation of computer application systems, and participates in the development and review of policies, procedures, and standards within OIT.
