About The Position

We are hiring an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial drywall and metal framing projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, documentation, and client communication while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Experience with acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, or other interior construction trades is a strong advantage. Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, or related interior construction.
  • Commercial drywall and metal framing experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and cost control.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, or other interior construction trades is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and flooring projects from kickoff through final completion.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and execution plans.
  • Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents to ensure scope accuracy.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
  • Track project costs, labor productivity, material procurement, and subcontractor performance.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
  • Perform regular jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, schedule, and overall project progress.
  • Identify project risks early and implement solutions to minimize delays and cost impacts.
  • Oversee project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, final documentation, and turnover packages.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and reliable project execution.
