About The Position

Reeves Young is seeking a Project Manager for heavy civil construction in Savannah, Georgia. The role plans and coordinates all aspects of construction, including subcontractor hiring and collaboration with engineers, architects, vendors, field supervision, and preconstruction. Requirements

Must possess working knowledge of, or demonstrate a willingness to learn, Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore, MS Project, Viewpoint, and Raken.

Responsibilities

Monitor and understand the overall financial status of projects, including subcontracts, vendors, labor and payroll, small tools, construction equipment, forming materials and systems, miscellaneous materials, and project overhead.
Control the time, cost, and quality of construction projects.
Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring subcontractors and working with engineers, architects, and vendors.
Plan and coordinate an effective preconstruction meeting with field supervision and preconstruction.
Supervise assistant managers and superintendents and review their reports.
Check on reported difficulties and correct safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
