About The Position

Anvil Builders is seeking a highly competent, driven, team-oriented Project Manager for heavy civil work. The company is a general contracting and civil engineering firm with self-perform capabilities across water and wastewater, mechanical pump stations, structural concrete, electrical, aviation, temporary services, and disaster response and cleanup. It works in both the public and private sectors, delivering high-quality outcomes and contributing to the communities where it works and lives.

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall success of the project, including coordinating team assignments, managing contracts and subcontractors, and overseeing project schedules, costs, labor, and tracking processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in civil or infrastructure work.

Responsibilities

• Delegate work and assignments to team members.
• Attend owners’ meetings and manage billing and schedule updates.
• Manage contracts.
• Manage subcontractors.
• Conduct jobsite walks.
• Develop look-ahead schedules and daily game plans.
• Track and oversee change orders (COs) and requests for information (RFIs).
• Track and project costs and labor.
