About The Position

ThermalWorks has an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability and eager to be part of an innovative company that’s on a journey to transform the world’s infrastructure. We are seeking a Project Manager to join [state team name/group], working directly with ThermalWorks and the ThermalWorks Project Management team. The role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of project delivery, from pre-construction planning to turnover, with a strong focus on schedule discipline, budget adherence, safety, and quality standards. The Project Manager will build strong working relationships with engineering, commissioning, service, and manufacturing teams to maintain cross-functional alignment and solve technical problems. They will also communicate with senior management, clients, and regulatory agencies, enforce adherence to company processes, startup requirements, and commissioning readiness, and conduct inspections and audits to ensure optimal performance, safety, and quality standards, ensuring compliance with local codes, standards, and regulations. The position requires preparing and submitting project plans and budgets, maintaining cost control, and being fully accountable for project financial performance. Ensuring alignment between field conditions and design intent, leveraging an understanding of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems is also key. This role requires 25% travel across a specified US region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other technical / construction-related degree.
  • 7+ years of project leadership experience, with 4+ years in mission-critical infrastructure or data center delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects in a mission critical environment.
  • Experience with commissioning oversight, Level 3–5 testing, and integrated system delivery.
  • Proven ability to earn the respect of both technical teams and clients through competence, consistency, and leadership.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and effective reporting skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support regional deployment efforts.
