About The Position

Assaia International AG provides AI-based software solutions for global airports and airlines. We were founded in February 2018 in Switzerland, headquartered in Zurich and New York and we have a fast-growing team located across Europe and North America.
Assaia offers AI-based computer-vision solutions that monitor and analyse aircraft turnaround processes from video streams. Assaia’s solutions help airports and airlines improve on-time performance, efficiency, safety, and sustainability metrics, helping them get their passengers to their destinations on time. To further strengthen our delivery process we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team for a full-time remote position. This unique position is a great opportunity to build a great career at an international company moving to the top of AI-driven software services for aviation.

Requirements

• Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in software project management and coordination.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strong and positive relationships with customers, team members and management.
• Professional presentation skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Able to simultaneously manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Candidates should be based in Canada, preferably on the East Coast.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with the aviation industry is a plus.
• An understanding of machine learning and computer vision technologies will be beneficial in this role.

Responsibilities

• Launching Assaia’s systems for customers requires a successful project implementation consisting of different deliverables and inputs from customers and internal teams.
• Coordination of all activities, timelines, deliverables and communication between Assaia’s teams and the customer leading to successful solution implementation.
• Track project requirements and manage timelines.
• Ensure clarity of project requirements and address ambiguities as they arise.
• Manage and minimize project scope creep.
• Proactively manage risks and maintain project risk log.
• Closely collaborate with the development team.
• Provide status updates and flag potential issues early to the management.
• Together with the team leaders, work on optimizing the processes.
