About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with experience managing network infrastructure projects. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with a hybrid work mode, based in Raleigh, NC. The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with technical teams, stakeholders, leadership, and management to deliver physical network infrastructure projects and related deployments, upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives. The role is accountable for ensuring projects meet agreed timelines and objectives and are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to high-quality standards. Travel throughout North and South America may be required.

Requirements

• Valid PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Minimum of 8 years of project management experience.
• Proven track record delivering physical network infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing infrastructure-related deployments, upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout North and South America if needed.

Responsibilities

• Secure and validate well-defined business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop and deliver solution proposals.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables in cooperation with stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects and achieve agreed timelines and objectives.
• Monitor project progress, oversee project governance, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders and management.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests through formal project management processes.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
