About The Position

Enclos Tensile Structures (ETS) is a national leader in the design and delivery of innovative tensile membrane structures, screen facades, structural glass systems, and building envelopes. We partner with top architects, engineers, and contractors to bring complex, high-performance building envelopes to life. We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead large, technically complex tensile structure projects. This role is ideal for a construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving challenging design and field issues, and is passionate about delivering exceptional results on high-visibility projects. The Project Manager provides administrative, operational, and technical direction for all aspects of tensile structure construction and engineering of large, complex, commercial, industrial, sports and entertainment, and/or municipal projects. Ensures project is executed to meet or exceed design, schedule, customer satisfaction, profit and cash flow requirements. Maintains high moral and ethical standards and conducts himself/herself in a professional manner. Shares knowledge with others in the organization. Upholds the values of Enclos Tensile Structures (ETS) and strictly maintains the company's policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field, and at least 8 years related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise should include all phases of the tensile structure business, including, but not limited to, blueprint reading, metal, glass, design, engineering, fabrication, and field and installation procedures.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word and Excel.)
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Occasional to frequent travel via airplane as required by project demands.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Software (for job costing, billing and labor management) is helpful.
  • Knowledge of Primavera or Microsoft Project scheduling software preferred, as well as experience with E-Mail, and cloud-based PM platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative, operational, and technical direction for all aspects of tensile structure construction and engineering of large, complex, commercial, industrial, sports and entertainment, and/or municipal projects.
  • Ensures project is executed to meet or exceed design, schedule, customer satisfaction, profit and cash flow requirements.
  • Supports design applications and system selection.
  • Ensures code compliance and technical accuracy.
  • Leads projects with limited oversight and provides solutions to design challenges.
  • Drives post-sale design development and coordinates internal/external meetings.
  • Sets up projects (accounting, IT, logs) and manages engineering and submittal processes.
  • Identifies and mitigates project risks.
  • Leads buyout, level bids, and negotiates pricing and scope.
  • Writes and manages subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Oversees vendor performance, QA/QC compliance, and cost control.
  • Develops and manages project schedules and updates.
  • Builds and manages Schedule of Values (SOV) and monthly billing.
  • Monitors cash flow, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Maintains project control logs and reporting.
  • Ensures QA/QC requirements are met across supply chain and construction.
  • Leads field testing and safety walks.
  • Manages change orders, back-charges, and contract administration.
  • Tracks labor productivity and partners with field leadership to resolve issues.
  • Leads progress meetings with general contractors and project teams.
  • Mentors and develops project team members.
  • Maintains clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensures timely and organized project closeout.
