About The Position

The ERFT ADAPT Team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery initiatives supporting the Starburst enterprise data platform and related data management technologies. The role partners with Finance, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Information Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Lines of Business to coordinate enterprise-scale data and analytics capabilities.

The Project Manager will manage multiple concurrent initiatives involving platform enhancements, data source onboarding, regulatory and governance activities, operational readiness, and technology modernization. The position requires strong program management, stakeholder engagement, and governance expertise in a highly controlled, regulated financial services environment.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of project or program management experience within large financial institutions or similarly regulated organizations.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology, data, analytics, or platform modernization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid SDLC methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams comprising architecture, engineering, infrastructure, operations, risk, and business stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing executive-level presentations and governance materials.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and aggressive delivery timelines.
• Experience with RAID management, dependency tracking, issue escalation, and executive reporting.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, project financial management, and resource planning.
• Working knowledge of enterprise data platforms, cloud technologies, data warehousing, analytics, or distributed query technologies.
• Ability to navigate complex governance, risk, compliance, audit, and change-management processes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Starburst, Trino, Presto, Databricks, Snowflake, Hadoop, or similar enterprise data platforms.
• Understanding of distributed query engines, data federation, data virtualization, and data mesh concepts.
• Familiarity with enterprise data governance, metadata management, lineage, data quality, and data privacy practices.
• Experience supporting regulatory reporting, finance, treasury, risk, or CFO technology organizations.
• Knowledge of information security, entitlement management, encryption, identity management, and access governance processes.
• PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery initiatives supporting the Starburst enterprise data platform and related data management technologies.
• Coordinate delivery of enterprise-scale data and analytics capabilities with Finance, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Information Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Lines of Business.
• Manage concurrent initiatives involving platform enhancement, data source onboarding, regulatory and governance activities, operational readiness, and technology modernization.
• Manage cross-functional teams and delivery using appropriate SDLC methodologies.
• Track risks, actions, issues, decisions, dependencies, and project status; escalate issues and provide executive reporting.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and governance materials.
• Manage project financials and resource planning.
• Navigate governance, risk, compliance, audit, and change-management processes.
