About The Position

Turning Steel Structures into Game-Changing Spaces. You're the person who keeps complex projects moving, clients informed, and teams aligned. As a project manager, the main objective is to oversee on-site construction projects from start to finish. As such, the job description entails planning, coordinating, and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet required building codes and quality standards. They also manage resources, identify risks, develop contingency plans, monitor progress, and report on performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of construction project management experience.
  • Construction, manufacturing, or related industry experience required.
  • Solid communication skills, adept at translating technical concepts for novice audiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Comfortable reading construction drawings and bills of materials.
  • Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to pivot on strategy; when priorities shift.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage projects from completion of the design phase through production, completion, and delivery.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deadlines, proactively identifying delays, risks, and long-lead procurement items that could impact delivery.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, providing regular updates on progress, timelines, delays, changes, and key decisions.
  • Focusing and aligning priorities based on client feedback.
  • Lead Client Kickoff Meetings to establish project expectations, communication guidelines, responsibilities, timelines, and next steps.
  • Coordinate across Design, Operations, Production, Procurement, Accounting, and leadership to keep projects moving forward.
  • Identify, source, and negotiate with project-specific vendors and subcontractors, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, signage, and other specialty trades.
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding with Accounting and manage vendor scope, pricing, scheduling, and project expectations.
  • Notify the Chief of Staff when project milestones are reached and the next phase is ready to be invoiced.
  • Oversee the Project Coordinator to ensure project administration and documentation—including MSAs, NDAs, change orders, packing slips, and delivery details—are completed accurately and on time.
  • Proactively escalate significant project delays, risks, client concerns, and operational issues to the Director of Operations and CEO.
