The Project Manager will lead the Operation by managing the day-to-day performance of assigned contracts, ensuring adherence to ROM guidelines and contract specifications. This role involves building comprehensive schedules for staffing, work, transportation, and facilities, tracking progress, identifying productivity trends, and maintaining project timelines. The Project Manager will also serve as backup APM when needed. A key aspect of the role is championing quality and safety by assuring a high level of service quality, resolving quality issues, conducting internal safety training, maintaining safety procedures, and updating the SDS book. The position also requires maintaining CPR/First Aid and OSHA training. Developing people is crucial, involving support for hiring, evaluation, and management of the team, building sustainment and leadership training for supervisors, coordinating vendor training, and providing constructive feedback to employees. The role also entails keeping the business running by overseeing floor care and maintenance scheduling, tracking staffing and time records, managing attendance and labor budgets for payroll accuracy, ordering and tracking supplies, managing uniform standards, and maintaining property, chemical, and key accountability. The Project Manager will act as a bridge by building strong relationships with government facility staff, representing the team in meetings, bringing solutions to the ROM, and being available for timely responses.
