About The Position

Vantor is seeking a Project Manager to work alongside the U.S. Space Force and mission partners to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW) capabilities. This role will involve leading technical teams, mission stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to translate complex requirements into operational capabilities. The Project Manager will coordinate testing, analysis, evaluation, validation, and verification activities, while also identifying and mitigating risks. The position requires disciplined program execution, innovative engineering methodologies, and the ability to drive action to deliver tomorrow's capabilities today. This role directly supports national security and focuses on shaping the future of remote sensing for the U.S. Air Force and Space Force.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with project management
  • 4+ years of experience in DoD acquisition planning, project management, and business operations
  • Experience managing programmatic risk including cost, schedule, and performance
  • Experience with DoD 5000.02 acquisition directives
  • Ability to interact well in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, computer science, or technical discipline
  • U.S. Citizen

  • Experience working with Confluence or JIRA
  • Experience with the military space systems
  • Experience with the DoD acquisition system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience working new technology programs for embedded systems
  • Possession of strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or technical discipline
  • Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level II or higher Certification
