JFT is growing and looking for strong execution-focused Project Managers to join our team in Loveland, CO. J FT offers hybrid flexibility and a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off. Prior nuclear experience is helpful but not required. We welcome candidates from industrial, energy, aerospace, manufacturing, or other highly engineered project backgrounds who are eager to grow within the nuclear and high-hazard sectors. The anticipated closing date for this posting is 08/31/2026 and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. At JFT, the Project Manager leads complex engineering and technical projects supporting critical nuclear industry customers. This role drives the full project lifecycle from kickoff through design, procurement, fabrication, testing, and final delivery while owning scope, schedule, cost, and overall execution. The PM works at the center of the action, coordinating closely with engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams to keep projects moving and solve problems in real time. The work is fast-paced, hands-on, and highly collaborative, with opportunities to support unique custom equipment and challenging technical projects. Success in this role comes from being proactive, organized, and comfortable leading through technical complexity, shifting priorities, and real-world execution challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, or other technical project environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive execution across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects, customer relationships, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Experience developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and execution plans.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office business tools including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or other project scheduling and management software.
  • Ability to professionally manage customer communications, priorities, and challenging project situations.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-accountability technical environments.
  • Must be able to work on a computer, standing or sitting, for most of the day and operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with team members, customers and vendors is essential.
  • May occasionally lift and carry items, typically under 25lbs.
  • This role requires immediate and routine access to restricted information under federal law.
  • Non-U.S. citizens (including lawful permanent residents) may require an approved DOE Foreign National Visit/Assignment (FNVA) before starting work.
  • JFT cannot initiate or sponsor new FNVA processes.
  • Hiring is contingent on the candidate's eligibility to access all required information and facilities as of the start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior nuclear experience is helpful but not required.
  • PMP certification preferred or plan to obtain PMP or CAPM (when applicable) within 1 year.
