Project Manager (All Levels)
About The Position
Motivo is seeking Project Managers for all levels to support and/or lead client-facing hardware development projects from initiation to completion. This role involves close collaboration with mechanical, electrical, software, and industrial design teams, translating client needs into technical objectives, schedules, and deliverables. The Project Manager will manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources in a dynamic environment, communicating project status, risks, and next steps to both internal teams and clients. A key aspect of the role is resolving conflicts with a calm, solutions-oriented approach and balancing scope, cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs. The ideal candidate will thrive in environments with evolving client needs and figure-it-out requirements.
Requirements
- Understanding of hardware product development and system integration across mechanical, electrical, software, and industrial design domains
- Ability to apply agile methodologies to both hardware and software development
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to engineers and clients
- Experience managing technical risk, cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving scope
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Experience working with tightly integrated multidisciplinary teams (professional or academic—Formula SAE, Solar Car, etc.)
