About The Position
Global InfoTek, Inc. (GITI) is seeking a Project Manager / Scrum Master to oversee day-to-day execution, agile facilitation, and project administration for development or operational test teams supporting a General Services Administration (GSA) contract. This dual-hatted role focuses on meeting sprint goals, removing team blockers, managing local project metrics, and maintaining compliance with broader project governance. The role is based in Reston, Virginia, requires U.S. citizenship and a Secret or higher clearance, and calls for 7–10 years of experience. A bachelor's degree is required, with a master's degree preferred; experience may be considered in place of the education requirement.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or in a related team-facilitation role.
- Strong practical knowledge of running Agile ceremonies and managing sprint cadences.
- Experience tracking budgets, schedules, and deliverables at the team level.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to resolve local team conflicts and remove daily operational blockers.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail in tracking team metrics.
- Strong communication skills for reporting team progress and escalating critical issues.
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery models such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, and a DevSecOps framework.
- 7–10 years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree; experience may be considered in place of the education requirement.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Secret or higher security clearance.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective ceremonies for assigned Agile teams.
- Identify and clear day-to-day operational blockers that impede development team progress and velocity.
- Track project-level budgets, maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and ensure timely submission of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables for specific teams.
- Monitor and report team-level Agile metrics, including sprint velocity, burndown charts, and capacity planning.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of tickets, workflows, and documentation in Jira and Confluence.
- Implement Agile practices tailored to sprint requirements and local team dynamics.
- Communicate tactical team progress and issues proactively to technical leads and stakeholders.
