MD&A is looking for a Project Manager to join our Generator Team at the St. Louis, MO Repairs location. This role will be focused on project planning and management and is accountable for schedule quality and accurate reporting of project on-time delivery. This position is integrated functionally with the General Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering/Business/Science degree) or equivalent knowledge / experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Planning, Scheduling, & Estimating

  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to understand the status of a project and link the schedule to the reality of the execution.
  • Strong expertise in project planning.
  • Ability and willingness to work domestically, and potentially internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall facilitation and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring a high level of quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop project schedule library of standardized jobs/work scopes based on shop scope technology. Primary purpose to provide project schedules that support the proposal process.
  • Provides execution support services and oversees coordination and collaboration with other members of the team who are allocated to the project to ensure overall quality and accuracy of the schedule.
  • The Project Manager ensures that other key members maintain their portion of the plan through regular reviews and will also provide Critical Path analyses, general guidance and help where required.
  • Investigates current processes and supports development of new processes and procedures, proactively driving implementation of new initiatives leading to fully integrated schedules, cradle to grave planning.

  • Assist with resource availability forecasting process and facilitate management of change to mitigate deviations from customer expectations.
