About The Position

Bridgewater Studio is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in themed entertainment, location-based experiences, theatre, trade shows, or scenic fabrication. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and leadership skills, along with a passion for managing complex, creative projects from concept to completion. Bridgewater Studio is a nationally recognized Experiential Design and Production Agency located in Chicago's Back of the Yards neighborhood. We create immersive, story-driven environments for some of the world's most recognizable brands and institutions - including the Smithsonian, Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, Universal Studios, Nike, and LinkedIn. The role is a full-time, in-person, salaried position that includes competitive compensation, benefits, and bi-weekly pay. You'll work with an inspiring team on innovative, hands-on projects from day one.

Requirements

  • Experienced Project Manager with a background in themed entertainment, location-based experiences, theatre, trade shows, or scenic fabrication.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager with a passion for spatial storytelling.
  • Strong track record of delivering large-scale, custom projects within creative industries such as scenic fabrication, live entertainment, industrial design, or other adjacent fields.
  • Organized, resourceful, and proactive, with excellent communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of how to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Confident working with budgets, timelines, and spreadsheets.
  • Experienced in 3D modeling and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion).
  • Skilled at building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Solutions-driven approach.

  • Extensive experience in a design and fabrication studio or similar environment
  • Proven project management skills within themed or experiential industries
  • Strong budget and schedule management capabilities
  • Excellent communication, leadership, teamwork and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
