About The Position

Gainsight is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join its Atlas - Sales Operations team. This remote role is based in the USA and reports to the EVP & GM, Atlas. The Project Manager will keep the Atlas Business Unit’s workstreams aligned and sequenced by maintaining an integrated plan, connecting solution roadmaps to delivery capacity, and preparing the business for annual planning, QBRs, and board meetings. The role works cross-functionally with engineering, sales, strategy, delivery, and finance in a startup-minded environment. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, training, or company events. The scope of the role may evolve with the needs of the team and business.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of project or program management experience in a technology, SaaS, or managed services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with some post-graduate work (or equivalent experience) and/or 12 years of related experience.
  • PMP certification and strong command of planning, sequencing, dependency management, and risk tracking.
  • Ability to alternate between tactical execution and strategic planning while keeping both moving.
  • Experience working across engineering, sales, strategy, delivery, and finance teams, and comfort owning outcomes across teams the role does not manage.
  • Working knowledge of outsourcing and BPO delivery models, including capacity and staffing planning.
  • Comfort with financial planning, including headcount, budget, and capacity models, and working alongside Finance.
  • Strong communication skills, including briefing senior leaders, making clear recommendations, and staying composed when priorities collide.
  • Bias to action and willingness to build structure in a startup before every process exists.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a startup or new business unit inside an established company.
  • Background in managed services or services delivery.
  • Experience preparing QBR or board materials.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled products or agent-based workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an integrated plan across engineering, sales, strategy, delivery, and finance, including owners, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Sequence work across business-unit workstreams and flag conflicts and trade-offs to the GM early.
  • Run workstream review cadence and track decisions and actions through completion.
  • Surface problems, own the path forward, and clarify ownership.
  • Validate engineering roadmaps against delivery capabilities so features are matched with training, staffing, and process readiness before reaching customers.
  • Lead capacity-planning cadence for internal operations and external services, including outsourced and nearshore staffing models aligned with pipeline and go-lives.
  • Coordinate annual business-unit planning by consolidating each function’s plan into one view.
  • Work with Finance on headcount planning, costs, and budget tracking against the plan.
  • Keep planning assumptions visible so changes in pipeline, capacity, or roadmap can be reflected quickly.
  • Plan QBR and board-meeting calendars and timelines, and ensure owners deliver inputs on time.
  • Gather sources, data, and status updates so content owners have complete and current information.
  • Surface risks, gaps, and decisions needed ahead of QBRs and board meetings.
