About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technically dense, enterprise change programs within the Trading & Supply domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in platform upgrades, major release validation, or large-scale regression testing programs. This role requires the ability to manage complex dependencies, coordinate technical teams, and effectively communicate with both technical staff and senior stakeholders. Experience with Endur trading software and a deep understanding of the Trading & Supply landscape are highly preferred.

Requirements

  • Experience as a delivery PM comfortable running a technically dense, enterprise change programme.
  • Experience with heavy environment, vendor, and test dependencies.
  • Experience leading platform upgrades, major release validation, or large-scale regression/smoke-test programmes.
  • Ability to coordinate technical teams across environment, DBA, application, custom code, and test workstreams.
  • Ability to manage external/vendor dependencies.
  • Ability to handle execution under constrained capacity and prioritize BAU vs. change.
  • Ability to translate technical information into executive decisions.
  • ETRM experience, preferably Endur.
  • Knowledge of Trading & Supply landscape.
  • Program and project delivery experience up to $10m budget.
  • Experience managing teams up to 50.
  • Experience with Agile & waterfall methodology.
  • Domain knowledge in areas such as Chemicals, Deepwater, Retail, Finance, Legal, HR.
  • Experience with Cloud, mobile, SAS, and digital technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Agree and deliver programmes, projects and workstreams to agreed time, cost, quality, risk and benefit, within the company's standards and controls framework.
  • Proactively analyze variances against plan and trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments.
  • Identify where a project may be at risk and take appropriate action.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders (e.g., users/customers/suppliers) to benefit from the delivered products, services, and changes.
  • Develop and execute appropriate change and engagement plans to achieve necessary behavior changes and maximize benefits.
  • Align expectations and ensure that stakeholder decisions are timely and effective.
  • Mobilise and lead teams with a mixture of staff and suppliers across organizational boundaries and the natural team.
  • Ensure teams have the necessary skills, capacity, and experience to achieve the required outcomes.
  • Develop the skills of team members through coaching, delegation, and providing stretching assignments.
  • Understand, assess, and embed the right delivery methodologies, considering project and business constraints.
  • Assess programme risks and evaluate trade-offs between cost, time, quality, risk, and benefit, managing the business cases of your projects and workstreams.
  • Ensure all deliverables are fit for purpose, meet all relevant requirements, and are effectively transitioned to support and business-as-usual.
  • Ensure that the business value intended by the work is explicit, agreed, and delivered.
  • Turn ambiguous estimates into disciplined execution through structured governance, milestones, RAID management, and crisp decision escalation.
  • Coordinate deeply technical teams (environment, DBA, application, custom code, test workstreams) without needing to be the architect.
  • Manage external/vendor dependencies, including license delivery, release notes, product roadmap clarity, and vendor demos/education.
  • Handle execution under constrained capacity, prioritizing BAU versus change, and explaining trade-offs credibly to senior stakeholders.
  • Translate technical smoke tests into executive decisions (progress, pause, re-scope, sequence follow-on work).
  • Drive prioritization decisions and alignment with broader upgrade strategy.
  • Provide concise executive updates with clear risks, decisions required, and next steps.
  • Demonstrate ETRM experience, preferably Endur.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Trading & Supply landscape.
